How to Become a Member

Come learn with the best! We have lots of opportunities for photographers across Arkansas and surrounding states to enhance their photography education and connect with their peers. Select the membership level below that suits your needs.

Active Membership - $125.00 (USD) Subscription period: 1 year Automatic renewal (recurring payments) An individual who is an owner, co-owner, partner, department head or manager of a photographic studio, or head of a photographic department in a non-photographic institution or firm.

Active Membership (Monthly Payments) - $15.00 (USD) Subscription period: Monthly, on: 1st Automatic renewal (recurring payments) An individual who is an owner, co-owner, partner, department head or manager of a photographic studio, or head of a photographic department in a non-photographic institution or firm.

By selecting this form of membership you are agreeing to an Active membership billed in 12 recurring payments currently through Paypal.

Associate Membership - $100.00 (USD) Subscription period: 1 year Automatic renewal (recurring payments) An assistant or employee of a professional photographic studio or of a photographic department in a non-photographic firm or institution, or spouse of an active member.

Student Membership - $65.00 (USD) Subscription period: 1 year Automatic renewal (recurring payments) Student membership shall be for students who are registered as a regular student in an accredited institution, college, university, or vocational school, which is approved by the board of the APPA, Inc. for a period of up to four (4) consecutive years, and providing that the applicant is not currently soliciting business for a profit in the field of photography. A student can be an employee of an "active" APPA member.

Sustaining Membership (Vendor/Sponsors) - $65.00 (USD) Subscription period: 1 year Automatic renewal (recurring payments) Membership granted to photographic industry vendors and sponsors of APPA.

Sustaining Members shall be a firm or representative of a firm selling photographic equipment and supplies or related service to the profession. A Sustaining Member shall not be eligible to vote or hold office, but may serve in an advisory capacity in Association affairs upon invitation. A Sustaining Member is subject to payment of dues and registration fees. Additional representatives of the Sustaining Member are not subject to payment of dues, but are subject to payment of registration fees.

Trial Membership - $65.00 (USD) Subscription period: Half a year Automatic renewal (recurring payments) Trial (6mo) Membership for professional working photographers that have never been a member (any classification) of APPA.
